A beautiful gold hoop is a must have earring. They are simple and they are elegant. A classic hoop is perfect with a vintage peasant dress and are equally stunning in the evening with a little something falling off the shoulder kinda sexy dress.

I am loving my new vintage fur!
The plusses for wearing Vintage Fur: Its recycled so you can feel PC about it. Its super duper warm. Its totally foxy (no pun intended) and you could be wearing your pajamas underneath this coat and people will assume your in Gucci. Fur is also a fabulous styling accent and can take a look into Wow. Fake or Vintage you cant go wrong.

That lady is the one and only Kim Nalley San Francisco’s own jazz diva. I have known Kim for years now and have seen her in many a hair style. What I am loving about this style is its a great cut and its her natural texture. I am a big fan of letting your hair do its own thing, its own thing with the help of a great haircut, some highlights and styling products that is.

I am loving this ladies look I spotted her In a restaurant in San Francisco’s Mission district on a Sunday morning. I love the cream colored vintage cable knit cardigan worn as a top together with that beautiful pop of color from the red scarf. Her earrings are great as well. The look works!

I spotted this stylish lady in the Lower Haight district of San Francisco.

I love the fur collar and by the way I noticed big fluffy fur collars all over San Francisco. Love the boots, the sunglasses are in just the right spot. Simple but great! Its a great weekend look.

Nest is one of those boutiques you go into because the window displays are soooo pretty.
Then you stay because the store is so well displayed and if you did not need a thing when you walked in you do now. This boutique is not the spot for a specific thing. It is the spot for a special thing. The boutique has unique tea cups, books on art, handmade dolls, exquisite jewelry, beautiful imported smalls from around the world and some clothing items. There inventory of special items changes often so going often is a joy. Nest is located in San Francisco on Fillmor st

Makeup artist Irene Delgado created this look for the holiday shoot. Here are her steps to creating this face.
Step 1. Irene used MAC “Matte” to prime and absorb an oil on our models skin. Step 2. Irene used Cover FX “Matte powder foundation” #E60 to any imperfections on the skin. ( under eyes, around mouth, on chin etc. ) Step 3. Irene used Cover FX “Setting FX” setting powder in “Light”. This setting powder provides a water resistant barrier on the skin, so if you’re sweating, the makeup won’t come off. You just have to pat the skin to keep it fresh. So dance the night away! Step 4. Irene used MAC “Desirous” blush on the apples of the cheeks. Step 5. Irene used MAC Paint Pot “Layin Low” all over the lid. Step 6. Irene used MAC “Carbon” eye shadow on the inner eyelid, all the way up to the inner brow line and out to the center of the eyelid in a “V” shape and at the outer corner under the eye. Blend heavily to make it look smoky. Step 7. Irene used MAC eye pencil “Smolder” , and rimmed the under eyes from inner to outer corners. Step 8. Irene used MAC eyebrow pencil “Stud” on the eyebrows, then she lightly brushed them with an eyebrow brush. Step 9. Irene used MAC lipstick “Glam” dabbing lightly on lips. No liner. Step 10. Irene used MAC pigment “Old Gold” on the bottom center of the lip to add dimension. Step 11. You look fabulous

This look can take you from party to party in great style. The look works because you have something very sparkly together with very not sparkly somethings. Sparkly together with sparkly is tricky and almost never should be done.
» VINTAGE SEQUINED BLOUSE IN MY BOUTIQUE
The skinny jeans with the oversized mens jacket is a very non-chalant touch giving the look cool. The look: Dark denim skinny jeans, vintage sequined blouse (here in my boutique), a mens dark blue suit jacket, skinny brown belt (here in my boutique) and a pair of Rachel Comey high heeled boots. This is not a hard look to duplicate with success. Many of you probably have some of the elements of this look in your wardrobe making it a cost effective look as well.
